As the 2024 cross-country season approaches, there are plenty of area teams to look out for, but only few will make their name to the top to Round Rock at Old Settlers Park this October.
Teams that usually find themselves in the cream of the crop are Sealy, Columbus, Round Top-Carmine and Bellville, but there are a lot of teams in the area that have the ability to make it big and compete for a state medal.
The likes of La Grange, Brazos, Flatonia, and other teams have seen the best of the best, and we’ve even had an area runner medal in 2021 for Brazos in Esmeralda Garcia.
Very similar to track & field, we’ll probably have a bunch of runners represent the area in ’24 at Old Settlers Park.
