Celebrated paintings on auction at library fundraiser

EAGLE LAKE — Eagle Lake resident, Marilyn Hunt, a Friends of the Library member, is delighted to present two large, professionally framed Giclee Prints on canvas painted by celebrated western artist Kenneth Wyatt, to be included in this year’s live auction, a most exciting part of the Eagle Lake Friends of the Library Dinner and Auction, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Eagle Lake Community Center.

Wyatt produced more than 9,000 western paintings, which were always in high demand and presented to or purchased by folks like Queen Elizabeth, the King of Dubai, President Ronald Reagan, President George W. Bush, Carol Burnett, Sam Donaldson, Sandra Bullock, and Johnny Depp.

Prayer on the Run and I Was Lost but Now I Am Found, both are signed and dated by the artist. Tickets for the din- ner and raffle will soon be available to purchase at the Wintermann Library or from any Friends of the Library member. Your participation will help the library to be able to continue providing exciting new books for all age levels, the Summer Reading Program for area kids, free use of computers for the community and all the other services that are done so well here in Eagle Lake.
