SEALY — The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association will be hosting its Annual Fruit and Citrus Tree Sale on Friday, Aug. 23.
This will be a Day of Sale. A variety list will be found on the Bluebonnet Master Gardener website closer to the sale.
The Annual Fruit and Citrus Tree Sale will start at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Post #442 at 1630 Meyer St. in Sealy. Bluebonnet Master Gardeners will be on-site to help with the selection of fruit and citrus trees. All trees are locally sourced to ensure they are climatized for this area.
All proceeds benefit the Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association scholarship fund, community gardening projects, and summer activities for area youth. The Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association is a network of trained Master Volunteers working directly with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services in Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Washington counties. There will also be an educational program on Friday, Aug. 23, from 1 to 4:30 p.m., at the American Legion Post #442 at 1630 Meyer St. in Sealy.
The Fall Horticulture Seminar is hosted by the Horticulture Committee of Austin County and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Austin County. Program registration will begin at 12:30 p.m., with the first presentation beginning at 1 p.m.

If you purchase a tree from the sale, you will receive a $5 discount to the program.
