Little Miss and Mister Contestants vie for title

LA GRANGE — As the 2024 Fayette County Fair nears and the queen and junior miss contestants continue to work hard in selling passes, seven little contestants are vying for the little miss and mister titles that will be awarded at the pageant. The pageant is slated for Thursday, Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the main stage as the association kicks off Fayette County’s Country Pride, County Wide Fair. Thursday night admission is free to all and the pageant will include an exceptional performance by John Dujka.

LITTLE MISS

• Kodi Calvert, a home-schooled second grader from La Grange, daughter of William and Jasmine Calvert.

• Hunter Denham, a second grader at La Grange Elementary, daughter of Garret and Kimberlee Denham.

• Scout Hielscher, a first grader at La Grange Elementary, daughter of Jerry and Amber Hielscher.

• Collyns Schatte, a second grader at Round Top-Carmine Elementary, daughter of Erich and Kelsey Schatte.

• Brooklyn Wostarek, a second grader at La Grange Elementary, daughter of Al and Hannah Wostarek.

LITTLE MISTER

• Witten Graeter, a second grader at Fayetteville Elementary, son of Chris Graeter and Crystal Richter.

• Carson Kovar, a kindergartener at La Grange Elementary, son of Brent and Cassie Kovar.
