LA GRANGE — The Colorado Vally Quilt Guild (CVQG) presented Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter with a quilt, “Barnyard Babes.” Lisa Slinkard and Katherine Hughes accepted the quilt on behalf of the shelter.
Tana Davis of Lincoln, and Marcia Albers of Giddings, both members of the CVQG, made the quilt.
The pattern is from Amy Bradley Designs and is called Sleepy Acres.
Davis and Albers have invested over 76 hours in piecing and constructing this special and unique design.
Their dedication, along with several hundreds of dollars in materials, time, and knowledge, has resulted in this beautiful and unique quilt.
They have donated it to assist the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter in their mission to care for animals.
