COLUMBUS — Beginning Sept. 12, there will be a lot of happy people for the Colorado County Fair in Columbus.
The fair opens on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 8 a.m. at the Colorado County Fairgrounds at 1146 Crossroads Blvd. in Columbus.
The livestock show will kick off while the Founders Hall gets jammed packed with seniors for the Senior Citizens Day starting at 10 a.m.
The Creative Home Ec Exhibits will display their wares beginning at 1 p.m. in the Founders Hall.
The Heart of America Carnival swings open at 5 p.m. and the fair opening ceremony at the flag poles begins at 5:30 p.m.
