Fayetteville putting on strong season in volleyball

Fayetteville volleyball has already won 15 games and were ranked in the top 10 for the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) volleyball poll due to their early success.

This team is young, but they have experience from last year as they were forced to play a lot of minutes, and it’s paying off this year with a winning record and becoming victorious in 10 out of their last 15 games.

Head coach Clint Jaeger is putting a successful recipe together for a team that is good now, but could be even better in years to come as they only have two seniors on this year’s roster in Ava Aldape and Tara Vitek.

Sophomore Lainey Gromaski has put on the offensive attack with a bunch of kills as an outside hitter and they also have Devynn Moeckel who is good at getting aces, as well as Emily Keilers, who’s been solid on the defensive end as the team libero.

This young roster has a bright future and could even make a case for a playoff run come October and November.
