Lizeth Lara won the Colorado County Fair Membership Queen contest, as announced at the opening ceremony of the Colorado County Fair on Sept. 12. Lara presold $12,800 in fair tickets and sold the most carnival passes. Lara is the recipient of the Heart of America Carnival Scholarship for $500.
