Columbus Garden Club September awards

The home of Robyn Adams at 1806 Charter St. in Columbus was chaosen as the Columbus Garden Club September Yard of the Month. Adams’s expansive gardens around her home, despite the heat, look spectacular, filled with beautiful flowers, prairie plants, pollinator fa vorites, exotic specimens, shady trees, and garden art and furniture.
Columbus Garden Club September Community Beautification was awared to Against the Grain with owners Samantha and Greg Glueck and building owners Lollie and Tom Raetzsch, located at 1136 Milam St. in Columbus. Despite the heat and lack of rain, Lollie has kept the oversized hanging baskets dripping in pink flowers lovingly tended and drawing attention. The Gluecks placed cheerful, bright red chairs out front to invite everyone to relax and watch what was happening on the square.
