SAN FELIPE - Stephen F. Austin State Park in San Felipe is now back open after being hit hard by Hurricane Beryl in early July. The winds knocked down many trees and limbs onto camp - sites, roads, and trails. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of park personnel, Friends Group volun -
teers, and staff from other parks, the park is open again. They worked in triple-degree heat for weeks to get everything back in use.
Trails are cleared and repaired for everyone's hiking and run - ning pleasure.
