The Austin County Elections office, headed by Kim Rinn, has scheduled several election workshops. These workshops provide valuable information about the process that guides the Austin County Elections Office and how it prepares, manages, and con- ducts efficient and secure elec tions for its area citizens.
The workshop topics provide a practical understanding of the election office's operations. At tendees will engage in a handson journey that covers poll pad check-ins, voter registration, ballot by mall voters, suspense voters, mock elections and tabulating results. Experience what’s involved in the entire election process.
The remaining two workshops are on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m., at the Austin County Annex at 804 East Wendt in Bellville, and on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 6 p.m., at the Wallis Columbus Club Hall, 703 Columbus Rd. in Wallis.
