Austin County Fair 2024 entertainment lineup

BELLVILLE — It’s fair time again, so get ready to Rock Around the Stage and have a great time at the Austin County Fair in Bellville! This year’s line-up will have something for everyone. Headlining the opening Saturday, Oct. 5 is Los Texmaniacs, with Augie Meyers and The Delta Boyz starting off the night. There will also be a “special guest appearance from a Native Texas entertainer that will add to this fun-filled night, prov ing everything is better in Texas.

Thursday, Oct. 10, Little Texas opens for Aaron Watson.

In the early ’90s, as a new brand of country music was commanding the airwaves, with their debut album “First Time for Everything,” Little Texas burst onto the scene with songs written, recorded, and performed exclusively by the members themselves and quickly becoming one of the top vocal bands of the decade.

Watson characterizes himself as Old-school but timeless: As a singer-songwriter and self-made musical success, this Texan has forged a slow and steady path to country stardom by honoring tradition and embracing the unknown. “Outta Style” and “Run Wild Horses” are crowd favorites. Friday, Oct. 11, the stage will be rocking with new Nashville artists Austin Snell and Corey Kent closing it out. Snell’s “Excuse the Mess” hit over 600,000 views the day he posted it. With a swag of “red-dirt and blue-collar grit,” Kent and his country rock released the song “Wild As Her” in 2022, which became a country radio number-one hit.

Closing out the fair will be a favorite to Austin County – the Randy Rogers Band. They will surely entertain you with talented fiddle player Brady Black.

The fan’s exuberance was shared by USA Today, which praised the band for having “loads of grit, swagger and heart.” The Randy Rogers Band built its audience by combining forces: It’s a dynamic live act centered around songs that fit the rowdy, party vibe of the concert circuit, but their songs also have a way of saying something. Opening for the Randy Rogers Band is Walker Montgomery; he is the son of John Michael Montgomery and the nephew of Eddie Montgomery from the country music duo Montgomery Gentry.

Montgomery was labeled as an artist to watch in 2022. The recent remake of his father’s song “I Love The Way You Love Me” portrays his unique gift of delivering love songs.
