The Faith Academy Knights took the two-hour journey down to High Island ISD to take on the Cardinals in their homecoming game.
The Knights jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Junior Jackson Dunn scored on the second play from scrimmage on an 8-yard run. He would also score later in the half on a 76-yard TD throw from Junior QB Chris -
tian Pillow.
Senior Travis Woodley would also add to his TD to -
tals for the year, adding four more on runs from 61, 51 and 7 yards. He also added anoth - er TD on a catch from 7 yards out from Pillow. The junior QB would end the contest going 9/12 for 234 yards and two more TDs, bringing his total to over 20 in
five games, half way through the season.
Other TDs in the contest came from sophomore Center Kayden Marcotte on a 10-yard run, and junior Joshua Stark on a 16-yard catch. Stark also had two rushing TDs called back for holding penalties on the Knights.
Other standouts in the con- test was sophomore Wyatt Da - vis and senior Dylan Callihan. Davis had a 39-yard catch from the first play from scrim - mage for the Knights. He also added a 25-yard run.
Callihan had one of his best games blocking, opening many holes for the Knights ball carriers.
Extra Point catches came from junior Gage Wilson and sophomore Riley Heyman. Sophomore Dyllan Oliva-
res also added two extra point field goals.
Sophomore Kelton Gal- le had the best game of his young career on the defensive side of the ball. He calculated 9 tackles, 6 QB Hurries, and two sacks.

umn for the Knights with 12. Senior Cash Eckermann also added 8 tackles as well. The Knights would win the contest 54-7 at halftime. The Knights will have their second home game of the sea -
son this week taking on Waco Valor Prep. The Junior High Knights will play at 5 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m. at SAB Stadium.
