COLUMBUS - A benefit for George Barnes, is scheduled for Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Veterans Hall in Columbus. Barnes suffered a massive stroke and is still in the hospital.
One hundred percent of the barbecue fundraiser and bake sale proceeds will benefit the Barnes family, medical bills, rehabilitation and living expenses.
