CVQG's newest 'Cut Above'
Award - Bobbie Elliott
LA GRANGE — CVQG (Colorado Valley Quilt Guild) instituted the Cut Above award in 2010 to recognize a member each year who we feel has gone above and beyond to help make the quilt guild special.
Bobbie Elliott was recently voted CVQG's 2024 newest 'Cut Above' Award recipient.
Elliott has been an active member of the CVQG since 2001.
With over 23 years in the guild, she has gone above and beyond in the formation of the guild. She attends the Wednesday Bee and is always looking for new ideas for her own art and ideas for our guild projects and quilt show. Elliott always has a job in the guild and carries it out with her own style. Over the years, she has helped make the raffle quilt and many charity quilts. She was the 2019 Chair of the CVQG Quilt Show, worked membership, Fat Quarter Stash and Quilted Stories liaison and so much more.
She inspires the members to go beyond their simple job descrip -
tions and improve things. She always thinks of others and en courages the rest of the members to do the same.
