Ash Wednesday fish fry cookin' good

The Columbus KC Council No. 2971 hosted its annual Ash Wednesday, drive-thru fish fry on Feb. 22 at the KC Hall in Columbus. The meal consisted of crispy fried fish, spicy hush puppies, creamy macaroni and cheese, and delicious coleslaw. The car line for the meals began at 4:30 p.m. and stretched nearly a half mile for more than two hours. The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order. Membership is limited to practicing Catholic men. These guys may be sitting down now but they really did work at the fish fry
