SEALY — Bellville football picked up a huge win Oct. 11 with an overtime victory against Sealy High School with a final score of 35-28.
Brahmas running back DD Murray stood out amongst the running game with a team-high 115 yards to go along with 20 carries and one touchdown.
A key rushing performer for Sealy was quarterback Kane Killough for 88 yards on 12 carries, but did most of their scoring through the air as Killough threw for four total touchdowns.
This was a huge win for Bellville as they have been struggling, but have also had a really tough schedule.
This could be the win that the Brahmas need in order to get them going throughout the rest of the season and into the playoffs.
With head coach Grady Rowe and great player personnel, this definitely seems like an attain able task.
