The Columbus High School football team kept their perfect record intact at 7-0 with a 56-38 win against Yoakum Oct. 18.
The Cardinals have now scored 50+ points in six out of the seven games they played.
Top performers in this game were Adam Schobel with five to tal touchdowns, Grayson Rigdon with 113 yards and two touchdowns, then Camdon Pitchford with 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns, even though there were a bunch of touchdowns across the board.
Columbus has been playing great football and are for sure one of the best teams in the state at this point.
A playoff bid seems automatic and a deep run very probable with the way they’ve been dominating in all facets with Schobel and company.
