SEALY — First-year Sealy girls varsity basketball coach Brateicka Mock recently won the Class 4A District 25 Coach of the Year award for her impressive 22-23 season.
The Lady Tigers had an overall record of 2115 with an 8-4 record in district. Sealy also had a five-game win streak in early December 2022 and were able to win a playoff game.
This team has good shooters, which is just a bonus to being well-coached as they have a neat style of play due to Mock’s presence. This is just the beginning for Mock and Sealy girls basketball is only going to get better from here.
