COLUMBUS - The Nesbitt Memorial Library Foundation (NMLF) will present its very first Live Oaks and Dead Folks historical walking tour around
the Colorado County Courthouse square in Columbus. Before your journey begins, enjoy an engaging "Happy Hour" at the Live Oak Art Center. Then, head out with your guide to un cover the secrets, scandals and hidden gems of Columbus' rich history.
After the tour, the evening continues with drinks and a gourmet dinner by award-win - ning Chef Raoul, set in the ele -
gant upstairs of the Live Oak Art Center. You'll also be treated to nostalgic scenes of Old Colum - bus, making it a perfect mix of fine dining and local charm.
Not up for the walk? No prob lem! Enjoy a special “armchair tour" right there at the art center with a narrator and slide show, so
you don't miss out on any of the fascinating stories.
All proceeds from the walk- ing tour will go directly to the Nesbitt Memorial Library Foundation. The money raised will help fund the construction of an outdoor learning center and pa vilion.

the Nesbitt Memorial Library Cemetery Tour, written by Trac- ey Wegenhoft with contributions from Susan Chandler and histor ical notes by Jim Kearney.
