Colorado County 4-H Dairy Judging Team ranks fifth in state

DALLAS — The Colorado County 4-H Dairy Judging Team competed at the State Fair of Texas 4-H/FFA Dairy Judging Contest on Oct. 12 in Dallas.

These youth had the opportunity to evaluate six dairy cattle classes, including five heifers and one cow class.

The senior team earned fifth place team honors, with member Colten Koy earning eighth high point senior individual.

Jacob Koy earned 10th place high point junior individual honors in the junior division. Senior team members Jack Dudensing, Colten Koy, Lana Potter and Jase Rau will compete in early November at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Ky., representing Colorado County 4-H and
