LA GRANGE — The 2023 Best Little Quilt Show covered quite an arealast Friday and Saturday inside the La Grange KC Hall in La Grange. The en- tire hall was filled with handmade quilts and with enough quilting materials that could cause a quilter a dizzy spell.
Best of Show went to Pamela Hayes, of Austin, Rhythm and Blooms, which was quilted by Debby Eades; National Association of Quilt Judge award went to Elizabeth Smith with Poppy Remembrance Quilt; Judge’s Award (Sandy Gard) went to Jackie Arbil with Clowning Around; Judge’s Award (Stacey Miller) went to Lou Ellen Hassold, Normangie, Tx and Jewel quilted by Angela McCorkle ; Pride of La Grange - Artisan went to Benda Winfield of Muldoon and quilted by Cathy Camew and the Pride of La Grange - Professional went to Patricia Docekal of Caddo Mills.
