The Fayetteville High School boy's basketball team has started the season near the .500 mark. Notable wins include a 67-46 victory vs Cypress Christian and
a 76-61 win vs La Grange. After making a state tourna -
ment appearance last year, this team has great guard play and can shoot the ball really well.
There's not really an area where they lack. Their defense is up to par and they are efficient on the block.
Head coach Jake Diggs has had tons of success with Fayette -
ville and it showed with a state
tournament appearance last year, but he's had good teams even be -
fore that.
Diggs runs his system and gets the most out of his players. The Lions are likely to have another great season with state tournament potential once again.
