The Colorado County Commissioner’s Court canvased the Nov. 5, General Election on Nov. 19. There were 14,841 registered voters eligible to participate in this election. 10, 045 turned out to cast a ballot.
Fifty percent of voting was completed during the early voting period, with only 14 percent of voters showing up on election day. Statistics showed that the biggest voting block by age for 2024 was the 25-to 34-year-olds, with 27 percent voting. The lowest is 4 percent with the 18-24 year olds.
