Brazos Cougars boys basket- ball grabbed their first win of the season with a victory over Pala- cios High School by a final score of 52-43.
Brazos is very well coached with head coach Jason Tucker at the helm. The guard play has been solid under Tucker, as well as the play down on the block with big men who have size and know how to attack down low.
Brazos will most likely be a team that runs the floor and plays hard down the stretch to pull out wins in close games. The shooting is also a strong suit of this team and if they can continue to produce in a bunch of aspects on the floor, the Cougars will pres ent themselves and one of the more competitive teams in the area.
