The Faith Academy Knights basketball team began their district campaign on Dec. 10 with a loss to #4 Founders Christian School Falcons by a score of 5841.
Leading the way for the Knights in scoring were Gage Wilson with 11, Josh Stark with 9, Everett Yates with 8, CT Pillow with 7, and Wyatt Davis and Dyllan Olivares with 3.
The Knights also traveled with the Lady Knights to Runge for the tournament on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14.
They started the tournament with an 87-47 loss to Brooks Academy from San Antonio.
Scoring for the Knights were Stark with 16, Gage Wilson with 11, Olivares with 10, Yates with 6, Davis with 3 and Riley Heyman with 1.
The Knights then played Faith Academy Victoria losing 44-34.
Scoring for the Knights were Wilson and Olivares with 11, Stark and Yates with 5, and Davis and Andrew Stoltz with 1.
The Knights rounded out the tournament with a 63-23 win over Benavides.
Scoring for the Knights were Wilson with 18, Davis with 9, Pillow and Yates with 8, Olivares with 7, Stark with 5, Stoltz with 4, and Cody Martin and Heyman with 2.
The Knights have played a very difficult schedule so far with eight games and only had foourpractices. They look forward to getting some practice time and being in the FA gym.
They have another district game on Friday, Dec. 20 against Kingwood Covenant before taking off for the Christmas break.
