Navidad Valley CattleWomen are excited to be offering their second annual Collegiate Scholarships.
Applicant must graduate from a high school in Lavaca, Fayette, or Colorado counties or equiva -
lent. Additionally, they must be junior, senior, or graduate stu - dents in a Texas college or uni -
versity.
The winning applicants will be paid a one-time award of $1,000 to be used for tuition or other education-related expenses.
The scholarship must be accepted in the year that it is won. Applications must be post- marked before Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, and sent to Navidad Valley CattleWomen, P.O. Box 221, Schulenburg, TX 78956. Full scholarship rules and ap- plications may be found at nvcw.

The Navidad Valley Cat - tleWomen, a local chapter of the Texas Cattlewomen, is a non-profit organization that sup ports and promotes the beef industry.
The Navidad Valley local works to support local youth with scholarships and provide quality information on the industry and how to incorporate beef into a healthy diet. Additionally, they work to support the community with targeted outreach projects that include a beefy twist.
