EAGLE LAKE — Sam Kana, pres- ident and chief executive officer of The First National Bank of Eagle Lake, will retire after 20 years at the bank and over 40 years in community banking.

Kana started his banking career in 1983. He joined The First National Bank of Eagle Lake in 2004.

Kana is a Sam Houston State University graduate, Class of 1982 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree among many other compliance degrees.
