EAGLE LAKE — Judging the places that lit up the hearts for the holiday season through festive lighting, the winners were narrowed down to three Eagle Lake residences, each taking the top spot in three categories.
The Most Animated went to Patricia Black at 808 D Street. A simplistic dis- play using the fun M&M's is the focal point. Using colored lights on the home, surrounded by lighted candy canes, brings cheer. The lighted Santa's sleigh and reindeer help out. The highlight is the M&M candy pieces sitting in large decorated chairs under the close watch of a beautifully lit angel.
The Most Festive award went to
Amanda Casilla and Martin Patino at 405 Scott Street. This creative display of a large Santa, reindeer and candy canes outlined with white lights anchors the yard. The theme of red and white was seen throughout. A fun inflatable wish ing everyone a Merry Christmas completed the display.
The Most Beautiful award went to Les and Marsha Bouldin at 626 Melody Lane. This outstanding display is simply stunning. Lighted trees glisten across the yard, and blue lighting edges the home and sidewalk. Lighted snowflakes and string lights hang from the large oaks and roof. With a manger scene, a Christmas star, and decor throughout the yard.
