Burn bans in Austin, Colorado and Fayette counties have all been lifted.
Colorado County, the last county to lift its ban, rescinded the burn ban notice effective Dec. 27 but noted that Colorado County was still in drought conditions.
Colorado County continues to pro- hibit the sale and use of fireworks with sticks and fins, while other fireworks are okay.
Colorado County Emergency Management Coordinator Charles Rogers advises that you contact your local vol- unteer fire department if you have any questions concerning controlled burning activities, pile size, safe spaces, preferred extinguishing methods, safe burn distances, or what is allowed to be burned.
