Weimar High School athletes Madelyn Griffin and Aubrey Breska have made the TGCA (Texas Girl’s Coaches Association) Fall Sports All-State team.
Athletes that qualify must be graduating seniors and have a grade point average of 94 or above to make the list.
Athletes that are recognized are nominated by their coach and the coaches that make the nominations must be a member in good standing of the TGCA.
Weimar sports has been on an upward climb ever since athletic director Wade Griffin took over and it seems to be heading in the same direction as there are a bunch of sports within the school that are succeeding.
As the Wildcats continue to win, they’ll likely continue to earn this kind of recognition.
