SEALY The Sealy Police Depart - ment officers responded to the 200 block of Gebhardt Road about an aggravated robbery.
The victim was meeting the buyer for an online posted sale item. The victim was robbed at gunpoint. The Sealy PD Criminal Investigation Division identi- fied the robber, Deshawn Williams, 18, of Sealy as the suspect. Williams was taken into custody in the 2100 block of Highway 36 South near Sealy.
The Sealy PD would like to remind the public that there are two areas marked as Safe Exchange Zone parking spots with signage set aside in the Sealy PD’s front parking lot to exchange such items safely. The parking spots are under 24-hour video surveillance.
