Take Charge of Your Heart Health Conference

COLUMBUS – Columbus Community Hospital invites everyone to join them for the Cardiology Conference on Thursday, Feb. 20 at the Columbus Wellness Center. This free event is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to build and maintain a heart-healthy lifestyle.

The conference will feature a full morning of activities, including free health screenings, expert presentations, and a heart-healthy lunch. Attendees will gain insights into cardiology care, wellness strategies, and practical steps for improving their overall heart health.

Event Highlights:

• Free Health Screenings: Begin the day with free cholesterol screenings and A1C tests provided by Columbus Community Hospital from 8 to 10 a.m., accompanied by complimentary healthy snacks from Healthcare Services.

• Expert Presentations: From 10 to 11:30 a.m., hear from leading cardiology experts, including: - Dr. Rabii, Cardiologist - Dr. Pepper, Cardiologist - Dr. Dahlberg, Pulmonologist These experts will cover topics such as the importance of health screenings, diet and exercise best practices, and steps to maintain a healthy heart.

• Nutrition Insights: From 11:30 to 11:45 a.m., a healthcare services dietitian will provide practical tips on creating and maintaining a heart-healthy diet.

• Heart-Healthy Lunch: At noon, enjoy a complimentary heart-healthy lunch provided by Memorial Hermann Hospital.
