Three Crosses Ministries Executive Director John Jones, center, congratulates the Volunteer of the Year to two well-deserving Seniors Together volunteers. The announcement to the public was on Jan.15, at The Lighthouse in Columbus during the Columbus Seniors Together gathering. Volunteer Florence Crews, left, and Richard Chance are dedicated to the mission of Three Crosses Ministries’ Seniors Together, a program initiative. There are two winners this year because they both put in countless hours. Crews is the program director for Columbus, and Chance is the program director for Weimar. Seniors Together is a place where active seniors, aged 55-plus, can meet and socialize and have coffee, lunch and Bingo, all free thanks to donors from the area communities. Three Crosses Ministries, a 501(c)3, will have its website up and running soon so everyone can keep up with the happenings of Seniors Together. Courtesy photo
