Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reported that on Jan. 27, investigators with the Fay- ette County Sheriff's Office re ceived information about a skid steer that had been stolen from a job site in Tomball, possibly in Fayette County on Prairie Valley Road.
Investigators located and iden- tified the stolen skid steer, which had been parked at the rear of a local property behind some dead trees in what appeared to be an attempt to conceal it. The property owner denied knowledge of it’s presence on the property and complied with investigators retrieving it from the premises. The stolen equipment was recovered and information was given to the Harris County Sheriff's Office for their investigation and to arrange for the owner to retrieve it.
