A Night in the 1930s

BELLVILLE — A celebration of the 1930s will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Emery’s Buffalo Creek Winery, 10827 State Hwy 36, in Bellville.

Sponsored by the Sealy Area Historical Society, the event will feature 1930s music performed live by Sealy High School students and Grayson Oliver.

A highlight of the evening will be a fashion show of vintage 1930s clothing that includes 30 looks from daytime to evening wear.

Plenty of fur, satin, lace, velvet and bling will be seen on the runway. From the moment guests arrive, they will be greeted with visions of life in the 1930s and volunteers dressed in 1930s garments.

Dinner will be catered by Uptown Catering.

All proceeds from the event will go toward preserving local and regional history and expansion and maintenance of the Sealy Historical Park located at 211 East Main St. in Sealy.

Reservations are required. For tickets and more information, visit sealyhistoricalsociety. org or call 832-492-4244.
