BELLVILLE – As of press time, Salvador Saucedo is still on the run after escaping custody during medical tests at the Bellville Hospital at about 7 p.m. on Jan. 23 in Bellville. He was seen on video traveling north on North Granville Street toward Centerhill Road in Bellville.
The Waller County Sheriff's Office says Saucedo escaped custody from a Waller County deputy during medical testing at the hospital. He was under arrest for possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.
The Waller County Sheriff's Office, Austin County Sheriff's Office, the Bell ville Police Department, and several
other agencies used K-9 tracking dogs, heat detection drones, and other resourc- es to find Saucedo.
He was last seen wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans. He is a Hispanic male with face tattoos, missing front teeth and brown hair. He also has a tattoo on his hand.
Saucedo was not handcuffed at the time of his escape and is considered dangerous. Do not try to detain. It is unknown if he is still in or has left the Bellville area.
The Austin County Sheriff's Office says to call 979-865-3111 or 911 if he is seen.
