Fayetteville boy’s basketball is playing like they want to head back to the state tournament for the second year in a row with 20plus wins on the season and an undefeated record in district play.
The Lions have won their last 11 games in a row with pretty much all blow out wins.
The closest margin of victory in their streak was their most recent win in a 51-38 victory over Richards last Friday.
Fayetteville has head coach Jake Diggs at the helm and while this team has great athletes, Diggs is more than reliable to put a good game plan together and keep his players on their toes, which is showing this year in how dominant they’ve been and he also has a state tournament appearance to show for it in the ’23-’24 season.
If it hasn’t already been made clear, the Lions are a heavy favorite to make it to state in backto- back years.
