Rice boy’s basketball had their season come to an end February 22 against Cole High School as they lost by a final score of 57-48.
It was still a great season for Rice and the future is very bright with the athletes they continue to have in their program. It showed this year with an outstanding overall record of 23-8 and 12-2 in district play.
When you have natural athletes in basketball, it makes winning a lot more attainable and it also helps when you have a solidified head coach in John Hunter who knows the game of basketball very well. Rice will likely continue to have this kind of success as long as Hunter stays at the helm and they continue to bring in these kind of athletes.
