2025 Lunch-N-Learn Series in Austin County

The Bluebonnet Master Gardeners of Austin County will present the 2025 “Lunch-NLearn” series, which will be hosted on the third Tuesday of each month from January through May.

Overall, the series will feature topics related to horticulture with homeowners and backyard gardeners in mind.

The speakers are experts in their fields and practical garden ers with great tips and information for everyone.

The programs will be held at the Texas A&M AgriLife Ex- tension office, located at 800 E.

Wendt St. in Bellville.

Doors will open at 11:50 a.m., and registration will begin at 11:50 a.m. The program will begin promptly at noon and conclude by 12:55 p.m. At the end of each session, the speaker and Austin County Master Gardeners will be available to help answer gardening questions.

All Master Gardener Lunch-N-Learn programs are free and open to the public and you are welcome to bring your own lunch and drink. There will be a few refreshments available as well. Registration is not required but is encouraged.

The remaining series dates and topics are as follows:

•Tuesday, March 18: Seed Collection by Mary Ann Drawl, Waller County Master Gardeners.

Learn how to collect seeds from some of your favorite plants so you can share seeds or grow your own plants from seeds.

•Tuesday, April 15: Drip Irrigation by Gerald DuPont, Bluebonnet Master Gardener. Learn more about drip irrigation and how to set it up to save water.

•Tuesday, May 20: Composting by Ali Blake, Bluebonnet Master Gardener.
