WEIMAR - Colorado County Judge Ty Prause will be the featured speaker of the Friends of the Weimar Public Library at 10 a.m. Friday, March, 21 at the Weimar Public Library in Weimar.
Prause will give a presentation on how the court system works.
Prause, a Columbus native, worked as an attorney in Columbus from 1988 to December 2010, when he took office as the Colorado County Judge.
Prause has belonged to and has served on various state and local organizations, including the Houston-Galveston Area Council, Texas State Bar Grievance Committee, Columbus Hospital Board of Trustees, Knights of Columbus, Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the Texas City Attorneys Association of Colorado County.
