ka Runnels ran for a first place finish March 6 at Bellville High School during the Archie Seals Relay Meet with a time of 12.81.
Finishing second was Sealy’s Kai Dabney with a time of 13.22 and Isabella Pitillo, also from Sealy, finished sixth with a time of 14.01.
Andrea Garza ran for the Lady Tigers as well and finished eighth with a time of 14.25.
This is even more success for Bellville and Sealy and it will likely continue throughout the year and even into the later part of the year at University of Texas for the state championships.
These teams are usually always competing in the state tournament.
