Fayetteville baseball starts season on winning stride

The Fayetteville High School baseball team has a winning re- cord just above .500 to start the season and there’s a good chance the winning ways will continue with the way they’ve been able to cruise right to the state champi- onship in the last few years.

The Lions have wins over Flatonia, Weimar, Aggieland Homeschool, and Ganado to start the year with a younger roster and a few seniors.

Fayetteville has been known to build state championship caliber teams under head coach Clint Jaeger and with underclassmen, 2025 could very well be a year where they make it back as they also have top-notch experience competing at the highest level.

Fayetteville will likely be a team that at least makes a good showing in the playoffs.
