cial Response Team executed an arrest/ search warrant at a residence and property on March 19, located at the 16500 block of Sycamore Road in Cat Spring.
The suspect identified as Laura Elie, also known as Laura Bursell, 55, was located and arrested on an active warrant for the offense of Murder.
The Austin County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, DPS Texas Rangers, and DPS Dive Team took part in the investigation. Defendant Elie was arrested without incident.
