Weimar cruising in softball

WEIMAR — Weimar High School softball is doing their normal thing of winning and are looking like a state tournament team once again with a record well above .500 and also have a dazzling record in district play.

Weimar has players such as Taylor Smith, Claire Pavlu, etc. and are led by head coach Roger Maupin, who knows what it takes to win a state title.

The Lady Wildcats are sound on both sides of the ball and are especially a force to be reckoned with in the postseason.

It’s just something about playoff softball where Weimar plays their best and their great experience during this time of year will certainly bode well for them in the late spring and summer.
