WEIMAR — Weimar Police Lt. Joshua Jones, a native of Colorado County, has been chosen to serve as the interim police chief of Weimar. Jones brings over 10 years of law enforcement experience, over two are with the Weimar Police Department.
He began his career as a reserve patrol officer and progressed through the ranks to become the operations and investigations lieutenant.
Jones possesses extensive experience and holds certifications as an investiga tor in sexual assault and family violence, death and internal affairs investigator, and various leadership certifications.
