Fayetteville track runner Law- son Fritsch earned a first place finish at the 1A Area 29 and 30 meet April 10 in Runge. Fritsch finished with a time of 51.96 and teammate Enoch Loafman earned a bronze med- al finishing third with a time of 58.93. Another area runner from the tri-county, Miles Neese from
Round Top-Carmine, finished with a time of 1:07.69.
Fayetteville is known for making it a ways in track as they’ve made it to state consecutively for a number of years now and they’ll likely make it back to Austin again this year at this kind of success rate.
The Lions are known for hav- ing great athletes in many sports, but track is one that comes to mind for having a lot of success.
