BELLVILLE - The Austin County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) Deputies re - sponded to a call for service in the 14000 block of Kidd Lane in Bellville at about 10 p.m. on April 12 for an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Upon arrival, ACSO units locat -
ed a victim who had cuts and puncture wounds related to the assault. Austin County EMS transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. A suspect was identified as Robert William Burt Jr, 54, of Houston, who fled the scene on foot before the arriv -

sponse Team, ACSO K9 "Knox", and ACSO Drone Units assisted with locat - ing the suspect. The suspect was found hiding in a wooded area near the scene. He was transported and booked into the Austin County Jail in Bellville on the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
