Faith Academy's baseball team has claimed the district championship— and they did it in dominant fashion.
The Knights capped off an undefeated 10-0 run in district play,
showcasing a season defined by grit, determination, and lightsout pitching.
The story of the season has been the Knights' pitching rotation, led by senior aces Cash Eckermann and Travis Woodley, along with junior standout Chris-tian Pillow. This dominant trio has been nearly untouchable on the mound, allowing just three earned runs combined throughout the entire season. Their consistency and control have kept opposing offenses in check and given Faith Academy Knights a clear edge in every outing.
But it wasn’t just the pitching that fueled the Knights’ run—solid defense and timely hitting have made this team a complete package. Game after game, they’ve found ways to win, whether by shutting down opponents or delivering clutch hits in big moments.
With the district crown in hand, the Knights now turn their attention to the postseason. Faith Academy will host their first playoff game during the week
of today, Thursday, April 24 or Friday, April 25, with their op ponent yet to be determined. Regardless of who they face, the Knights will take the field with confidence, momentum, and one of the best pitching staffs in school history.
Faith Academy fans have waited nearly two decades for another district title—and this year’s squad has delivered it in spectacular fashion.
