RESS BELLVILLE — The Bellville Lions Club “let the good times roll” during its Mardi Gras fundraising event on March 4 at the Austin County Fair Convention and Expo Center in Bellville. The annu-al event sets the mood for projects near and dear to Lion’s community service. Last year, over $90,000 was distributed.

This year, the total for the fundraiser is expected to head over the $100,000 mark. Event tickets and the auction helped the Lions achieve their goals.

The official, authentic Luke Bryan auto graphed guitar was bid on and won by Rocky Luetge of Industry.

The out-of-this-world meal featuring ribeye steak, baked potato, stuffing and

green beans was cooked perfectly. An appetizer of shrimp and cocktail sauce set the dinner mood.

Not leaving well enough alone, the dessert was Blue Bell ice cream and toppings.

After a great meal and fellowship, the crowd immediately got up to fill the dance floor when Easy Money started playing favorite dance tunes.

Every year, people look forward to this annual event. The Bellville Lions Club hopes you will be there next year.
